from my archives:
the poem is Emily Dickinson's
the photographs are from my student days
you've seen one of them before
(i'm still struggling with black and white
imagery in this digital medium
attempting to capture a better representation
of the essence of silver prints...)

I robbed the woods
Brought out their Burs and mosses
My fantasy to please--
I scanned their trinkets curious--
I grasped--I bore away--
What will the solemn Hemlock--
What will the Oak tree say?
yes, Laura, i'll still want
to explore the woods in March
