Little things

i found these at Greenwood on Sunday
i don't know if someone chewed them off the oaks
or if (as i suspect) the trees are dropping them prematurely
due to the beastly hot and dry weather

One of my favorite Greenwood Girls
i call her Sally


leaves us at least one
perfect little pale blue egg
every day

So pretty! We always use free run eggs, but I've never seen a blue one. Very special indeed.
