i had plucked the viola that bloomed in the potted plants' indoor winter quarters and brought it to the dining room so i could sit at the table where the soft light would illuminate all her fine features.
As i readied the camera for a second exposure
Lucy suddenly leaped onto the table
intent on checking out the source
of such pleasantly sweet aroma
This is certainly not acceptable behavior in this household!
i shoo her away
get ready, again, to snap
when, without a sound
she reappears
intent on tasting the sweet little thing
i snatch it away
but not before her sharp little teeth
snatch a bite
Obviously
i am a forceful disciplinarian when it comes
to cats on the table
ahem...
and i do admit it
this capture
of Lucy's cross eyed concentration
did make me laugh
Naughty pretty kitty, that nose is simply kissable!

Oh she is lovely. Funny how they like to eat plants, we had a ginger who was the scourge of all house plants, he even bit the top clean off my sensitive plant, which expired from the shock, it was cleary just too much for it's sensitive soul!
I absolutely loved your city visit post too.
