Ok, I know this is really lame, but I just had a thought: you could name this recipe Roots 'n' Ribs. I'm gonna have to try it.

My Mom used to fry up sliced potatoes and onions all the time. It was greasy, and I liked to add ketchup, but she never added the bacon. She was from West Virginia.
