i have collected several miniature daffodils
This is 'Minnow'
It is smaller than a 25 cent piece
(translation: it is a little more than 2 centimeters)
This little fellow, 'Rip Van Winkle', is about the diameter of a golf ball:
(as always, click on the image to view a larger version)
i've seen, and there are in the garden now, versions where
there is no trumpet to speak of at all
but this year
most of Mr. Winkle's flowers have attempted to form one.
This one has succeeded:
'Snipe' is another miniature
i first fell in love with this sweet thing at a daffodil show<
it opens with a pale yellow trumpet
...that gradually turns to almost white
Walking past them
you see a patch of stars

Delightful little treasures! I'm glad RvW maintiained his right to a trumpet!
